“Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”
Jesus warned all, that the path to destruction is wide, where in many shall come and reside.
This wide path is the path of least resistance.
The least resistance to anti-Israeli sentiments, the least resistance to anti-christian rhetoric and the least resistance to anti-social behavior.
In other words, to be anti-Israel is popular today and when a person speaks out against her there is no backlash, but a person that stands for Israel are hated. The christian religion can be made fun of, and even openly hated but all other false religions are off limits when it comes to speaking out against them. When a person speaks out against homosexuality they are called bigots and prejudice, even though the animals know this is against their very existence. Men will do things that even the animals know is wrong.
But when someone speaks out for this to be made normal behavior they are called progressive.
This is the way of the world where many seek to justify unrighteousness and sin. People today have not learned from the past and will inevitably repeat it.
Many are preforming things that are contrary to nature and sound judgment. This was the way with Sodom and Gomorrah, and even in the days of Noah before the flood came and destroyed them and their works.
The strait gate is righteousness and Godliness, being a path that the Lord has made for all that will believe upon Him and His Son Jesus. The few that find it will be all who will believe in Jesus being the Son of God.
The wide gate is the way of Satan, unrighteousness and godlessness. Many today are seeking to change laws and even times to accommodate all who would follow them into lifestyles that are contrary to the Laws of God.
Even as many seek the destruction of Israel, multitudes are seeking sanctions, and rebukes to Israel for protecting themselves, this also is against the will of God, for Israel and its people are the chosen ones of God. Is being against Israel a sin or unrighteousness? The Bible states clearly that the Lord will bless those that bless Israel and He will curse those that curse her. That He will destroy all nations that had came against Israel.
We live in a society today that has gone down the path of least resistance, not desiring to take hatred from the world to stand up for the laws and principles that the Lord has set down to regulate human behavior. These are the enemies of the Cross of Christ.
“(For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:
Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly,(Carnal lusts, sensual pleasure. ) and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)”
“But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;”
“whose glory is in their shame.”
Men glorify themselves by the promotion of unnatural lust and desires, this is, and has become, their shame before the Lord, who has warned them that such acts are worthy of death. These people take pleasure in these things and take pleasure in all that participate in them. They believe that the more that will accommodate their desires, the more it will be acceptable, these are the blind leading the blind and both shall fall.
“natural brute beasts”; (A brutal person; a savage in heart or manners; an unfeeling man. Irrational.)
Men have taken the unholy and embraced it as natural.
Mankind is becoming rough; uncivilized; insensible, they have deviated from the path of righteousness that would save them, and have decided among themselves what is acceptable and unacceptable behavior. They have set up gods for themselves that allow sin and unholy affections.
“Whose end is destruction”,
They give no glory to God, but have glorified themselves, thinking they are something, with their money, power, fame and positions they deceive themselves and others.
For as it is written of man;
“For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.”
“But of these who seemed to be somewhat, (whatsoever they were, it maketh no matter to me: God accepteth no man's person:) for they who seemed to be somewhat in conference added nothing to me:”
For all who accept unrighteousness will be destroyed of their own choosing.
Just because a man has power does not mean that he is powerful, for as a man gains in power he looses himself and becomes corrupt. Famine, war and social disobedience are the results of such men. These men become gods within themselves and forget where they came from. The loose their compassion on the weak, the poor and the helpless. They begin a system of ethnic, political, and religious cleansing, hoping that all that would remain would become as they are.
False religions are in the forefront of such actions. They teach and practice murder to all that will not bow down to their god. The three Hebrew children would not bend nor bow to a false god and neither will the true believer in Christ.
Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life.
